What Is Kolab?
Kolab is a comprehensive and flexible solution
for workgroups. Email, contacts and group calendars can be
managed at leisure both via Windows/Outlook and via
GNU/Linux/KDE. No permanent network connection is necessary;

synchronized with the server.

Kolab Server 2.2 Beta 3 (with Horde web client) released
Since 2.2 beta 2 the Kolab server provides a web client that supports all the groupware features known from Outlook and Kontact. Thus users are less dependent on their local client and can access their groupware data from anywhere in the world provided they have a standard browser available.
